As we move deeper into this fast, the Lord highlighted a single word in my spirit: turbulence.
Last year, the Lord impressed upon me that we would be entering into a season of acceleration. That season will continue, but as God accelerates us, we must be prepared for turbulence.
Spiritually speaking, turbulence is not a warning of destruction.
It’s a signal of movement.
In the natural:
The same principle holds in the Spirit:
When God allows or highlights turbulence, it often points to one or more of the following: Acceleration, altitude change, pressure realignment, training for stability.
==============
Now, let us keep in mind that Jesus promised PEACE, not calm.
“In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”(John 16:33, ESV)
Notice:
Paul echoed this reality:
“We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair.” (2 Corinthians 4:8, ESV)
That’s very much so, turbulence language.
Now, brothers and sisters, God is not saying, “brace for disaster”, “something is about to break”, or “you are out of my will.”
God does not warn His sons and daughters to panic; He prepares us to remain steadfast!
This matters more than interpretation.
Pilots are trained not to fight turbulence aggressively.
Spiritually, this means:
Here's some seatbelt "theology" for us":
We are not being tested for survival.
We are being tested for how we steward in motion
Turbulence doesn’t mean you’re losing altitude.
It often means you’re gaining it.
Stay present.
Stay anchored.
Stay obedient.
The One who called you knows exactly how you’re built—and He is not nervous about the conditions you’re passing through.
