OUR BELIEFS

THE BIBLE: That the Bible is the Word of God,

written by men, yet inspired by the Holy Spirit.

It is the infallible truth and our guide to a

Godly life. (2 TIMOTHY 3:15-17; 2 PETER 1:20-21;

1 THESSALONIANS 2:13)

GOD, THE GREAT I AM: That He is the one

true living God, the Great I AM, and

the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He is

revealed in three persons: The Father,

The Son, and the Holy Spirit. 

(John 14:26; John 20:21-22; Genesis 1:26)

HOLY SPIRIT: The Holy Spirit is a

third of the Godhead and the

promised gift of the Father that will

stay with us forever. He empowers us

to be the witnesses of Jesus and

convicts the world of sin. He is our

comforter, counselor, teacher, helper,

strengthener, advocate, intercessor,

and best friend. (Acts 1:4, John 14:15-17,

John 14:26, John 16: 7-8)

JESUS CHRIST- SON OF GOD, SAVIOR

OF THE WORLD, LORD: That the Lord

Jesus Christ is the Son of God come

into the world to redeem creation.

The scriptures declare He was born

of a virgin, was sinless, and did

many miracles. (Isaiah 7:14;

Matthew 1:18-23; John 1: 1-5;

Luke 1:26-35; John 21:25; John 14:30)

HE IS RISEN!: That Jesus Christ died at

the cross,spent three days and three nights

in the heart of the earth, and rose back

to life in victory with the keys of hell

and the grave. Later, He ascended to the

Father and is alive making intercession

for us and guiding His Body as the Head of

the Church, bringing us into His image

until His second coming. (Matthew 12:40; Romans 8:34;

Ephesians 1:22; Ephesians 4:12-16)



THE SIMPLE GOSPEL: That Jesus Christ purchased

our salvation through His finished work at

the cross. He bore our diseases and our

punishment for our sins. He defeated death

and the grave and rose again in victory.

He is the firstborn of all creation and through

His sacrifice redeemed mankind and restored

our relationship with the Father. Salvation

includes not only going to Heaven, but

to live this life as ambassadors of the

Kingdom of God in complete freedom from

the bondage of sin. (John 3:16; I Corinthians 15: 1-4)

SALVATION: Salvation is obtained by repentance and

belief of Jesus Christ.(Ephesians 2:8; John 1:12,

Acts 2:38; Romans 10:9)

BAPTISM IN WATER: That the Baptism in Water

is the outward declaration of dying with

Christ and rising with Him in new life. 

(Matthew 28:19; Acts 10: 47; Romans 6:3-11)

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT: There are 9 supernatural gifts

of the Holy Spirit. These gifts are given according

to God’s Will and Purposes. The gifts are:

-The Word of Knowledge

-The Word of Wisdom

-The Gift of Prophesy

-The Gift of Faith

-The Gift of healings

-The Working of Miracles

-The Discerning of Spirits

-Different Kinds of Tongues

-The Interpretation of Tongues

 

There are also gifts referred to as

“practical” gifts. These are:

-Service

-Teaching

-Encouragement

-Giving

-Leadership

-Acts of Mercy.

(1 Corinthians 12:1-11, Romans 12:6-8)

SANCTIFICATION: That sanctification is the process

that is empowered by the grace of God that teaches

us how to walk in righteousness and purity.

This is how we are transformed into His image

and how we seek the Kingdom and all righteousness. 

(Romans 12: 1-2; Hebrews 13:12; Romans 6:1-11;

1 Thessalonians 5:23; 1 Corinthians 1:30)

THE CHURCH: The Church is the Body of Christ,

and it is the temple of God through the Holy

Spirit. The Body of Christ has the divine

assignment of the Great Commission to save souls,

make disciples and bring the Kingdom of God to

Earth. Each believer is an integral part of the

body and essential to accomplish our divine assignment. 

(Ephesians 1:22-23; Matthew 28:19;

Ephesians 2:22; Mark 16:15-20)

FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY: The church was given the

Five-fold ministry for the purpose of

equipping the saints to evangelize to the world,

to make disciples, and to edify the Saints.

The Five-fold offices are Apostle, Prophet,

Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher.

(Ephesians 4: 11-15; Ephesians 2: 20-22)

HOPE OF OUR SALVATION: The resurrection of those

who have died in Christ and their translation,

together with those who are alive and remain

unto the coming of the Lord is the hope of

our salvation.​(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17;

1 Corinthians 15:51-55; Romans 8:23-24)

NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH: The first Heaven and

the first Earth will pass away, and He will

create a new Heaven and a new Earth, where

righteousness abides.​(2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1;

Revelation 7: 15-17)
